SK Children Foundation aims at providing all the basic necessities to needy people. Our team works day in and day out and has carried on even during the challenging times of COVID. Till now, we have distributed over 15,000 food packets to ensure no one sleeps with an empty stomach. The food distribution drive took place in Tundla for old aged people, women, children, and other needy people. Mahatma Gandhi once said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in service of others”

                                                                                  One  of the members of SK Children Foundation, Aayushi participated in Hindi Pakhwada. It was organized by The Sunshine Coaching group. She made us proud by sharing her views in favor of Hindi and how we should respect and cherish it. Another notable thing about this event was that our Founder, Mr. Raghav Sharma, played a significant role in its organization.The founder of Green Pencil Foundation, Mr. Sandy was the chief guest who attended the program via webinar. 

he event at The Sunshine Coaching was a huge success and was covered by another newspaper- Kolhaan. The article applauded the efforts and hard work of two of our SKCF members, Mr. Raghav and Ms. Aayushi. Their hard work paid off and made us proud.

The Jagran Newspaper appreciated the efforts of SK Children Academy to celebrate Diwali. This year has been very difficult for the little ones as well. To make sure they enjoy the festival and learn about it, we made our best efforts for the children. They made Rangolis, paper hangings, etc. To make sure we are not harming our environment the children celebrated a cracker-free, Green Diwali. Read more about the same by clicking here.

Another newspaper published our Diwali celebration at our Janakpuri center. From beginning the celebration with a puja to ending it with lots of photos and memories, it was a day worth all the endeavors. Gifts, sweets, and snacks were also exchanged among the children.       

Times group featured our founder, Mr. Raghav Sharma, in their article talking about his experience. He has been running our NGO SK Children Foundation since 2016. During the covid period with his friends, he formed a “Covid Warriors Team” which was providing information about plasma, blood leads, ICU beds, oxygen beds, oxygen cylinders, etc. They were helping people by giving them verified leads for their families and friends. 

                                                              Another newspaper published about the Akhil Bhartiya General knowledge competition. It was held in memory of Sudhar Singh Yadav. The competition was held on 14th August and the results were declared on 15th August. It was held in 3 phases, 1st for students 1st class to 5th class. 2nd for 6th to 8th class and the 3rd one for 9th to 12th class. 30 students received consolation prizes as well as certificates, apart from the winners.

SK Children Foundation was appreciated by yet another paper, for this competition. It was symbolic of how exams are an integral part of a student’s life. Thus, this was yet another achievement by the SKCF Family that has made all of us proud.
