The SK Children Foundation took a commendable step towards educating and empowering the residents of Delhi about Quality Standards by organizing an awareness program about quality standards. In a world filled with products of varying quality, ensuring the authenticity of what we buy has become a matter of paramount concern. With a lineup of esteemed speakers and an engaged audience, this awareness program left a lasting impact on everyone who attended it.

SK CHILDREN FOUNDATION’S QUALITY STANDARDS PROGRAM: THE SPEAKERS AND THEIR INSIGHTS

The event featured two prominent figures in the field of quality standards: Mr Chinmay Dwivedi, Director of the Delhi Branch Office, Bureau of Indian Standards, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, and Mrs. Chitra Gupta, Deputy Director of Bureau of Indian Standards, Ministry of Consumer Affairs. Their expertise and passion for the cause were evident when they took the stage.

One of the key takeaways from the event was a deeper understanding of ISI marks, the gold standard for product quality in India. Mr. Chinmay Dwivedi explained how these marks are awarded only to products that meet rigorous quality standards. They symbolize trust, assuring consumers that the product they’re purchasing is safe and reliable.

Mrs. Chitra Gupta further illuminated the audience on the importance of product authenticity. In a world plagued by counterfeits, her insights were invaluable. She highlighted how counterfeit products not only compromise quality but can also pose serious health and safety risks. Her words resonated deeply with the audience, igniting a collective determination to make more informed choices.

REAL STORIES, REAL  IMPACT: QUALITY STANDARDS IN ACTION

What made this awareness program truly special was the active engagement of Delhi residents. Attendees asked questions, shared their experiences, and participated in interactive discussions. This wasn’t a one-sided lecture; it was a vibrant conversation that left everyone feeling more empowered and aware.

To drive home the importance of quality standards, the event also featured real-life stories from consumers who had experienced the consequences of purchasing subpar products. These personal anecdotes added a human touch to the discussion and made it clear that quality standards are not an abstract concept but something that impacts individuals and families on a daily basis.

Attendees also had the chance to network with like-minded individuals who shared their commitment to quality standards and consumer safety. This networking aspect of the event not only fostered a sense of community but also laid the groundwork for future collaborations and initiatives in support of quality standards.

As a token of appreciation for their participation, all attendees received certificates, acknowledging their commitment to quality and consumer safety. But the SK Children Foundation didn’t stop there. Refreshments were provided, fostering an environment where learning was both enlightening and enjoyable.
The impact of this event extends beyond its immediate audience. As Delhi residents go about their daily lives, they now possess a heightened awareness of the importance of quality standards and product authenticity. They have the knowledge and the tools to make better choices for themselves and their families.
