SK Children Foundation
It is a non-profit organization (NGO) that works 365 days a year to provide the best education to the underprivileged section of society. SKCF aims to teach needy children subjects and life values that go beyond the horizon of normal schooling. We strongly believe that each and every child should get equal opportunities in terms of education and co-curricular activities.
Parents Teachers Meeting was held recently at our Janakpuri centre where our teachers had an interactive session on the children’s progress with their parents.
The PTM was conducted for our students up to 11th grade. Parents were provided with all the necessary academic details of their kids. SKCF teachers keep proper records of the students enrolled in our NGO. Students are subjected to regular assessments which ensures improvement over time. Record of how student scores in the periodic tests is kept and it was presented to the parents in the form of a report card in the PTM held.
Other than teachers, we also had a batch of volunteers who helped in the conduction of the PTM efficiently.
We also provided counselling to the parents about the importance of education and how it can help their children in long term. It was a pleasure to meet the enthusiastic parents whose participation is indispensable for the successful working of our organization.

Someone has rightly said – a teacher should inspire a child to reach academic success; a parent should use that success in a way that influences positive change in the world!
