SKCF stands strong with all the women in the country and is working towards breaking the age-old taboo over sanitary pads and menstruation in this country. For this purpose, we conducted a sanitary pad distribution drive in a slum area in Shahdara, Delhi on the 23rd of June 2021. We distributed a total of 30 sanitary pads amongst many women of the slum households.
We believe that menstrual hygiene is a necessity, a need for all women and we shouldn’t be ashamed to talk about it. Also, using clean sanitary pads prevents many diseases from rising from dirty cloths or unhygienic arrangements made by many women in these slums, thus saving them from it. We hope to continue and even grow our support for all the female citizens of our country.
