- Bamboo Shoot- Widely eaten throughout Arunachal Pradesh, bamboo shoots have a delicate flavour, and are thus very famous.
- Pika Pila- This is a pickle which is usually accompanied with bamboo shoot, which is known for its intricate and fine taste.
- Pehak- A side delicacy which is a combination of fermented soya bean and chilli, which renders a unique taste to the food.
- Momos- Known in many places as Dumplings, this is one of those delicacies that are famous throughout India, and the momos of the East are worth trying.

Tribes of Arunachal Pradesh–
Arunachal Pradesh has 26 major tribes, with more than 100 sub-tribes. The most significantly known tribes include Aka, Apatani, Nyishi, Tagin, Galo, Khampti, Mishmi, Naga, Momba, Singpho, etc. These tribes have their own culture, their heritage, their cuisine, their literature, but they’re living in harmony with each other, representing unity in diversity to all the people out there.
Arunachal Pradesh is a place that is brimming with cultural heritage and the presence of the various tribes makes it even more important. The three main cultural groups of Arunachal Pradesh are as follows:
- The Monpas and Sherdukpens of Tawang and West Kameng Districts follow Mahayana Buddhism.
- The Adis, Apatanis, Mijis and Nishi’s worship the Sun and Moon God.
- The Octes and Wanchos follow basic Vaishnavism and maintain a strict village society.
