Diwali is the most prominent festival in India and people celebrate it with great enthusiasm and grandeur. Diwali symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, and good over evil. The lights of Diwali signify a time to destroy all our dark thoughts. Eradicate dark evil, and give us the strength to carry on with our goodwill for the rest of the year.SKCF was also all charged with new energy and love for the festival to celebrate this wholesome Diwali in its own NGO way. This is why we named our Diwali event, “DIL-WALI DIWALI – YEH DIWALI NGO WALI”. The festival was celebrated with an air of friendliness and held an aura of purity and happiness.
HAPPENINGS OF DIWALI EVENT
We organized this event to show our love and acknowledge the precious efforts made by all of our volunteers towards the organization on the 20th of October, 2022, in Bahawalpur Bhawan Janakpuri, Delhi . All the volunteers and children from various corners of Delhi came in along with their friends and family to celebrate Dil-Wali-Diwali.
Our volunteers planned, executed, and managed the entire event themselves. The event started with welcoming our Chief guests, Mr. and Mrs. Anil Baweja and Mr. and Mrs. Alok Agarwal. The audience greeted them with energetic claps and excitement. Further, our founder presented them with Saplings as a token of appreciation and gratitude. The guests and SKCF team beautifully lit the lamp initiating the event. On this occasion, our Vice President, Mrs. Kiran Sharma, was kind enough to acknowledge the audience with some beautiful words. The atmosphere got more vibrant due to the Saraswati Vandana.
Moving forward, Aditya sir and Prerna ma’am, active, and warm members of our SKCF family addressed the audience with welcoming notes. Following this were the fun dance performances by our NGO kids. Surprisingly the performance even made every person in the room groove a little along with the moves of the children.
The audience was just settling in and enjoying their time and to make them feel more comfortable and aware of the NGO, our founder Raghav Sir filled us all with some good spirit, energy, and motivation to look forward to.
The already hyped audience got more excited when they got to know about the performance by one of our talented students, Nisha. After this beautiful performance, came the time to be inspired and more aware of our surroundings. This was done by a very informative and interesting speech by our beloved chief guests, Mr. and Mrs. Anil Baweja.
PROJECT BHOOMI
The main highlight of the event was the inauguration of our new project ‘Bhoomi’. This project aims for SKCF to take steps towards an environmentally friendly neighborhood. As SKCF believes that the protection of the environment and shifting towards a sustainable world is the key to a better world for our children. Moreover, through this project, SKCF intends to develop sensitivity towards the environment in the young generation. We focus on inculcating the required skills in them to conserve the environment.
DIWALI FILLED WITH DELICACIES AND DANCE
To make the event more memorable, students and volunteers indulged in various fun games and dance performances. For this various volunteers and kids were called upon the stage to groove on some Desi hits. Their smiling faces were evident enough to state that the volunteers and kids enjoyed the games.
Lastly, the event moved forward toward its final step with a speech of gratitude and appreciation for everyone. Laughter, love, happiness, and happiness filled the entire hall. The cherry on the ice cream was the beautiful decorations and delicious munching. Without a doubt, this was one of the most fun events of the NGO.
With that, we brought the very awaited and loved Dil Wali Diwali event to an end with smiles and love. Summing up, this event brought so much happiness not only to the children of the NGO but also to the volunteers working. Do not forget to check out youtube for our Dil-Wali-Diwali event.
